What does a visit from the Energiebespaardienst look like?
Step 1. The energy savings coach rings your doorbell, introduces himself and asks if you are interested in a free consultation.
Step 2. The coach reviews with you how to save energy in your home.
Step 3. The coach goes to work for - and with - you to immediately install energy-saving products. For example, the coach carries with him draft strips, radiator foil and LED lights; they are free for you. So it costs you no effort and no money. The visit lasts no longer than 1.5 hours in total.
Step 4. The coach may hand out additional energy-saving products, explain them and give additional tips. In this way you can save even more energy by using energy and heating differently and by making small additional adjustments to your home.
Step 5. You immediately consume less energy and immediately save on your energy bill, possibly up to €300 per year.
Unfortunately, the Energiebespaardienst is no longer active in Amsterdam
You may qualify for one of the municipality's other schemes.
