What is the Energiebespaardienst?
More and more Amsterdam residents are struggling to pay their energy bills due to rising energy prices. The municipality wants to help as many Amsterdam residents as possible who live in poorly insulated houses to use less energy and thus lower their energy bills. That is why the Energiebespaardienst visits residents free of charge on behalf of the municipality of Amsterdam.
Energy Savings Coaches visit residents' homes to provide on-the-spot help right away. They install free energy-saving products, such as LED lights, radiator foil and draft strips, and give you tips. It costs you no money and no effort. By making small adjustments, you can often save a lot of energy and pay less for heating and electricity in your home.
Unfortunately, the Energiebespaardienst is no longer active in Amsterdam. You may be eligible for one of the municipality's other schemes.
Read more about it on the municipality's site.
